Toddler ADM: February 2020

Hello Everyone!

We made it through February, even though we were not feeling our healthiest. We did a lot of Grace and Courtesy lessons to remind each other of how to sneeze in our elbows, get tissue when we need to blow our nose, and to always wash our hands. We aslo sent each other a lot of good thoughts during this month! Despite some sneezes, we had a lot of fun and you will be able to see that below. Thank you so much for those who have donated books to our classroom as part of the Toddler program Valentine’s Day tradition. We displayed the books in our classroom for the children to see, and their faces lit up whenever we read their book during Circle Time.

The light table was introduced with a Valentine’s Day colored theme, as well as other materials throughout the classroom.

Independent baking was still a hit and yummy as an after lunch treat!

We enjoyed laughing at Circle Time, whether it was with Mr. Julian or stories before nap time.

Conferences and Observations

Please make sure you are signed up for your child’s conference, as well as observations. You can sign up HERE. Pre-Conference notes are available HERE. Fill it out and return the form by the Monday before your conference. 

Diaper and Wipes Notices

Please note that when a diaper notice is sent out, we need more diapers for your child. By law we are required to change children every 2 hours– so your child receives a minimum of 4 diapers per day, or a minimum of 20 diapers per week; and if there are bowel movements, there will be additional diapers used. Please let us know how we can help to ensure that your child has their diapers and we do not have to borrow from other children’s supplies. If sending in a bulk supply would be best for you, please let us know. Thank you for understanding the urgency in this message!
