Welcome back Parents!
Fireworks!
As an ode to this week’s holiday, the toddlers made fireworks prints. They used paper towel rolls and some dark paper to simulate the night sky.
Mad Science
Mad Science returned with a round of workshops for the primary children. This week they explored “Energy and Motion”.
They watched energy being stored and released in cars.
They experimented with marbles and tubing, arranging the tubing in different ways to change speed and direction of the marbles.
Red, White and Blue Smoothies
We made red white and blue smoothies with red berries, bananas and blueberries.
Here is recipe we used: SIMPLE SMOOTHIES
Soccer Shots
The children learned a new skill called shielding. They protected their ball from being taken by moving around to make a barrier between the ball and their opponent. And as always they end their sessions with goal scoring and cheering on their teammates.
Enjoy the weekend!
Best regards,
Cherise
