Greene Towne’s Montessori & Me Classes

Montessori & Me Parent/Infant Group
for newborn to 10-month-olds and their grown-up

Infants and their grown-up will come together in community to share the joys and challenges of parenting an infant and to gain insight about child development within the Montessori environment. You will be with your child to observe as they explore Montessori materials and join in circle time.

A Greene Towne facilitator will guide the session and group discussions through the use of Simone Davies’ The Montessori Baby, included with registration. Some weekly topics will be movement, home environment, independence, and language acquisition.

Parent/Infant Group for newborn to 10-month-olds meets on Wednesday afternoons, 12:30-2:00 pm for 7 weeks from Oct. 25-Dec. 13 (no afternoon meet-up on Nov. 22.) $280 for this 7-week session. Register below.

Montessori & Me Playgroup
for 9 to 30-month-olds and their grown-up

Older infants and toddlers spend the morning exploring the Montessori environment while their grown-ups learn how to support their child’s natural drive to learn. Our morning starts with a group circle time, bringing us all together with our welcome song, stories, and rhymes. During our open “work” time, children engage in a number of developmentally appropriate and child-centered Montessori activities. We wrap up the morning with another group time and our goodbye song.
