We cannot believe how fast December has gone by. The children have enjoyed the Christmas and Hannukah materials throughout the classroom, as well as singing “Jingle Bells” during Circle Time. Check out the pictures below to get a better look at December! We have also made it through the first half of the school year and cannot wait to see what else is in store.

Important COVID-19 Testing Information

Head of School, Sarah Sweeney-Denham, informed everyone last week though email about COVID-19 testing that is required upon returning to school on January 4. The testing will be taking place at Greene Towne Montessori by Attain Wellness Medical Center on Tuesday, December 29 and Wednesday, December 30. To register for testing, please check your email with the subject line: COVID-19 testing requirement and event for Return to Campus Jan. 4.

We were creative and used a fork to paint using the primary colors (red, yellow, and blue). While painting, we were able to see that the mixing of colors made the secondary colors (orange, green, and purple).

We strengthened our fine motor skills with the latest popular materials—paper cutting with scissors and push pin with an image of a driedel.

There were beads, beads, and more beads!

We used our gross motor skills indoors for recess in our Movement Room and outdoor in our courtyard to play in the snow. We also got to take a break from the fun to look outside at construction trucks.
