Auction Updates: January 2020

As we turn from January to February, the Auction co-chairs are hard at work getting ready for the best event night possible!

Work on the program, including family ads, has begun! Ads for the program are due on February 7, 2020 and can be purchased here. The auction program serves as Greene Towne’s yearbook and will be a cherished memento for years to come. Ads are a great way to honor your child and to thank their teachers!

Procurement efforts are well underway with the deadline of February 14, 2020 for silent auction items (pledged items are welcome!). Some of the exciting silent auction items include:

• A hockey puck signed by a team member of the Philadelphia Flyers

• Center Court Tickets for the Suns @ Sixers game for the March 27, 2020 Game

• A class where the winner will make custom chocolate bars and hand-rolled truffles

• A gift certificate to be used at MiCumbia, a GTMS family business

• A golf outing at the Union League in Torresdale

• A private shopping experience at Skirt Boutique

Parent volunteers are what make the event night a huge success! We need your help; even if you only have 30 minutes, it is appreciated. We could especially use help with:

• Greeting guests as they come into World Cafe Live

• Check Out 

• Clean Up

Addendum on Family Ads:

Dear GTMS Parents,

We are so thankful for your support with the 34th Annual Auction and excited to organize this fun annual fundraising event at Greene Towne Montessori School.  We would like to provide you with a few more details on the Auction Program and family “ads.” At the Annual Auction, we provide attendees with an Auction Program which is effectively a student yearbook.   The Auction Program contains individual and student class pictures, student artwork and Greene Towne school notes. The family “ads” are a particularly special part of the program, because they contain pictures of family members, classmates, teachers and the school, all serving as beautiful reminders of special times in their lives at GTMS.  

We would love to see more family photos in this keepsake item – please reach out to Anel Akiyanova at auction@gtms.org to have your picture in the program.
