During week five of camp we explored the continent of Europe.
Art
The children learned about Roman mosaics. These mosaics were often used to embellish tabletops walls and floors. Tesserae are small pieces of stained glass which were used for windows and also incorporated in the mosaics.
Super Circle Time!
Nicole joined the primary classrooms this week for a round of super circle time.

Soccer Shots
This week during soccer, a new technique was introduced called the big kick. The children took a step back with one foot and give the ball a hard kick with the other. They practiced this as they scored goals.
The character word of the week: CONFIDENCE
Confidence=I believe in myself!
Venturing out
The toddlers stepped outside to enjoy some fresh air, story time and gelato at the Terrace at Giant and Coxe Park.
Important reminders
- Soccer day is Friday each week. Please send your child in wearing sneakers or closed toe shoes each and every Friday. This is important. Sandals/open toes shoes are not recommended or ideal for soccer.
- Please take care not to block the driveways on either side of our entrance.
- Health checks should be completed each morning before arrival.
