Primary ADM July Blog: Hooray for Summer!

Hello Everyone,

Summer is in full swing and the children in Primary ADM have been enjoying many fun, summertime exclusive activities and special projects! Spending time out on our playdeck sunning and playing in the splashpad has been a classroom favorite along with exploring the water table and helping care for our school’s garden. We’ve also had the opportunity to visit the Sister Cities splash pad and cool down Center City style. Water beads are popular as ever and we’ve had the chance to explore with them both outside and inside of the classroom including a sensory bin filled with various sea and swamp creatures. There have been exciting visits from guests each week including kicking goals with Soccer Shots, funky experiments with Mad Science, and the vibrant interactive musical stylings of Mr. David. As we’re sure you’ve likely heard, the children have also greatly relished the different baking projects that have taken place these past few weeks! We’ve made cheesy quesadillas, savory personal pizzas, sweet banana muffins, and most recently yummy yogurt pops. Art is still a summertime staple and the children have been creating beautiful works each week, including Roman inspired tiles, courtesy of Ms. Diana. July has been full of joy and creativity and we look forward to August!
