Our Montessori Minute series is a parent education tool that shrinks big philosophy in just about a minute. This time, we refresh Practical Life, a section of the classroom that most students are interested in as they settle into the classroom this time of year. Practical Life can be summed up as care of self and care of environment. Ask your student about washing, scrubbing, or sweeping at home! These concrete tasks build up independence, stamina and concentration for the more challenging and abstract work that will come later. Enjoy!
