Lunch Around the World: Dumplings!

Recently the Kindergarten students celebrated the last Lunch Around the World for the 2022-23 school year! On the menu were dumplings around the world: Poland, Greece, Mexico, China, France, Portugal, and India! The children enjoyed spring rolls, pierogies, samosas, tamales, spanakopita, and soup dumplings. For dessert, delicious sweet cookies from India, crepes and strawberries, and Munchkins.
The children were also treated to a beautiful song, sung by our own Ms. Maggie and members of her choir, Sing Slavic. Check it out:
Lunch Around the World is a special experience for the children, where families get to celebrate and share their culture or a culture with which they are familiar, through food! Some of our Ks shared what LATW means to them here.
LATW happens because of our wonderful parents, who volunteer to cook/bake/bring in food for the students. Many thanks to all of our Kindergarten parents for finishing the year strong with wonderful Lunches. We couldn’t do it without you. Enjoy the photos!
