In lieu of any formal celebration of Halloween at Greene Towne, each classroom organizes crafts and other projects to celebrate the season. Our students do not wear costumes or bring candy to share.

Helpful hints for your child during the Halloween season.

·      Scary is often not good.

·      Children may like dressing up. When considering your child’s costume, think about whether your child can walk safely and use the toilet independently.

·      Masks can be difficult for young children. They often scare themselves. Make up can be a solution.

·      Going to a neighborhood celebration is a good opportunity to recognize Halloween. Staying for a short time can help you make it a successful experience.  Often the last to leave have tired and disappointed children.

·      When visiting houses for trick-or-treating, limit the number or play “trick or treat” at home.
