It’s Earth Week! All week long our children have had the joy of planting flowers, veggies and herbs and, of course, playing with those delightful decomposers – the worms! Now it’s time for families to celebrate Earth Week in Greene Towne’s final community service project of the year. Although we cannot get together in a group this year, there is still plenty for the GTMS community to do! Some suggestions are below, and if you do nothing else, just get outside and enjoy  nature! 

 

1) Clean up your local playground or park! Bring a trash bag, some kitchen gloves and a grabber thingy (we use kitchen tongs) and get cleaning. 

 

2) Plant! If you have a back yard or patio, plant some flowers, herbs or veggies.
