We enjoyed singing Halloween songs such as Halloween cat, The Five Little Pumpkins, Jack O’ Lantern, and The Scarecrow song.

The children all loved the Halloween art projects.

We will be working on a fall-themed craft and are asking the children to bring in leaves that they find on their walk to school or over the weekends.

Fall is such a beautiful time of year! We are talking about the change in color of the leaves, and acorns and why squirrels collect them.

To quote Maria Montessori: ” There must be provision for the child to have contact with nature; to understand and appreciate the order, the harmony and the beauty in nature. That the child may better understand and participate in the marvelous things which civilization creates”.
