It’s getting cooler and we have settled into the school year nicely! Thanks so much for helping us and the children get set on a successful path. We are happy to help, and grateful for your partnership.

Below are a few important reminders – please pass these on to caregivers/family helpers:

Strollers

This is very important: We have limited space for strollers. On average, 30 strollers are left in the lobby and have to be reorganized by staff every morning so that 1) toddlers can access the stairs for recess safely and 2) anyone walking in the lobby won’t upset any precarious piles. Reducing the number or size of strollers would help immensely, if you have the flexibility. Thank you so much!

Arrival/Dismissal

Dismissal: Dismissal is a busy time! When your child has been dismissed to you or your caregiver, please help us keep visual track of whom to dismiss by stepping away from the front doors/courtyard gate.

Arrival and Dismissal: Please remember – and remind everyone that does drop off or pick up for your child – that we will only release/accept children when cars are parked at the curb in a proper parking space. We cannot and will not accept or release a child when a car is double parked in the middle of the street. Similarly, we cannot and will not accept/release a child when a car is blocking the driveways on either side of GTMS. When waiting in the car queue for a space, please keep the entrances to our neighboring driveways open. These same rules apply for services like Uber or Lyft, as well as taxi cabs.

Please help us be safe, please help us be courteous neighbors, and please help us stay a considerate community. Thank you!

Whom Should I Contact?

A full list of proper contacts and emails is here. The quick version is this: For general info/questions or absences, contact office@gtms.org to reach the front office – Ms. Eileen or Ms. Deb. For illness or covid tests, contact health@gtms.org. Thank you so much!
