Welcome to our May blog!

We hope you enjoyed receiving your Mother’s Day hearts!

We have added many new food preparation works into our daily routine. We began an egg slicing and serving work. This was a huge hit. It is always surprising at the number of children who love hard boiled eggs (especially with a little bit of salt). We continue to have carrot peeling, slicing and serving work on our shelf. Both the egg work and the carrot work are wonderful for so many reasons. The peeling and slicing processes helps to develop your child’s pincer grip and fine motor skills. The serving processes helps to develop social skills and grace and courtesy – “Would you like a slice of carrot?”, “Yes please”, or “No thank you”.
