 Welcome back Parents!

Spring is in full effect with the foliage bursting in full bloom and the many sunny days we have been enjoying out in the courtyard.

Here are some moments from our time together April.

We kicked off the month with a rainy day egg hunt. The children’s findings were collected along with some other treats in to-go goody bags.

Baby chicks were hatched at Greene Towne! We took a quiet moment to visit the newly hatched little ones.

Flower arranging work is especially popular around this time of year. This multi-step work requires the use of pouring through a funnel and scissor cutting; two techniques that the children have prior experience with. Flower arrangements beautify the space and give toddlers a sense of pride and accomplishment as they are setting this up for all to enjoy.

Happy birthday to Blair!
Blair celebrated her 3rd birthday with us this month.

One of the highlights of the emergence of Spring is outdoor planting time. The children carefully sorted worms and planted pea shoots with Miss Erika.

We have a new movement corner in our classroom which includes a stationary bike and yoga space. They have been practicing some yoga poses with Miss Anne and with each other.

Best,
Cherise, Anne and Alexis
