Hello Parents,

April was filled with lots of events and activities. We had an Easter egg hunt, visited the chicks, planted seeds and dug for worms with Ms. Erika and Ms. Sweeney-Denham. The ADM Primary Kindergarteners read to our class, and we celebrated Aaron, Noa, and Julia’s birthdays.

The continent work is still very popular and some children are working on pin punching all seven continents. The children are also engaging in multi-step work like chair scrubbing, the Pink Tower, Brown Stairs, painting with watercolors using the entire palette, and washing/polishing the leaves of the many plants in our classroom. These extensions are important in further developing concentration.

“Concentration is the key that opens up to the child the latent treasures within him.” (Maria Montessori)
