As we enter the second full year of the COVID-19 pandemic, and with FDA approval of COVID-19 vaccination for children between the ages of 5-11 coupled with the anticipation of vaccine availability for children under the age of 5 in the future, many questions and concerns continue to emerge. Please join us for a virtual evening of information sharing, questions and answers with physician experts from the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

About the Panelists
Susan Coffin, MD, MPH
Dr. Coffin is a pediatric infectious disease specialist who currently co-leads the COVID Response Program at CHOP and helped launch a school-based testing program in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Project ACE IT (Assisting Child Education through Increased Testing).

Paul Planet, MD, PhD
Dr. Planet is a pediatric infectious disease specialist whose laboratory at CHOP studies the evolution of infectious disease, especially the spread of antibiotic resistance and the impact of the microbiome on health and disease. Recently, Dr. Planet has been leading a CDC funded effort to track the evolution of the SARS-CoV-2 virus to trace the spread of different viral variants in Philadelphia.
