Hello Parents!

We are very excited about getting to know your children and to partner with you through this important journey in your children’s life. You may be still seeing tears at arrival, but please know that your children are adjusting to their new routine nicely. We are now beginning to see their true personalities which means they are comfortable and are beginning to trust the adults in the environment.

A huge part of the Montessori philosophy is fostering independence. So with the cold weather coming the children are practicing the “up and over” method to put on their jackets. This is really helpful for us and you when we are getting the children ready for the outdoors. Here is a short video I would like you to view. Up and Over 2017

We are moving into our Fall and Halloween-themed work. You will be seeing and hearing a lot about pumpkins, leaves, and apples. The Five Little Pumpkins Song will quickly become one of the children’s favorite songs.

Picture Day for toddlers is Friday October 13th.
