Hello Parents,

We had a wonderful October!

We enjoyed singing Halloween songs such as Halloween Cat, The Five Little Pumpkins, Jack O’ Lantern, and The Scarecrow song.

The children all loved the Halloween art projects and the theme of the work, which gave the materials new attention.

We are encouraging independence and self-help skills with the children. This builds their confidence and joy for learning. If your child comes home from school with their shoes like this!  Know that they worked hard to do it themselves, and they are internally proud of this accomplishment.

The many purposes of a pumpkin!

Fruit tasting is a sensory activity.

A scarf can bring joy and encourage the use of imagination.

“Imagination does not become great until human beings, given the courage and the strength, use it to create.”

Maria Montessori

I hope your observations are going well, we are looking forward to seeing you at the parent-teacher conferences.

Enjoy the photos!
