Hello Parents! 

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedules to attend conferences. Ms. Maeve and I were so happy to talk with you about your amazing children.

 November was fun-filled, we created a corn craft that the children brought home and other fall-themed artwork. We got to enjoy the unusually warm November weather, spin the compost bin daily, and learned from Aldo the Dutch word for ‘worm’ is ‘wormen’. 

We have now changed to the Christmas theme in the classroom. This simply means the shape of the paper on the art shelf is now Christmas Trees and Reindeers, the items for collaging are color themed. In one transfer work, the objects are jingle bells. The colors of the trays and bowls are red, white, and green. We will also include Hanukkah craft projects before the break. These projects create new interest to ensure the children are choosing work that will continue to develop and strengthen important skills.
