Welcome back Parents!

Continent work is always present in our classroom. We often use our continent boxes as part of this curriculum. Previously we had the Asia box on the shelf and now, Africa. The Africa box is a big hit in our classroom. The children have been discovering new animals with this along with one of their favorite books: Old Mikamba Had a Farm by Rachel Isadora.

Next stop, South America!

We had a visit from a friend from the Primary ADM classroom. He introduced us to a new book titled Zoo Looking by Mem Fox. This was a very special treat because this kindergartner was previously in our classroom as a toddler. How time flies!

We celebrated Holi with a mandala craft, circle time reading, and a recess dance party complete with scarves.

Here is another glimpse into the process of our auction project. The children used many techniques to complete this work including shaving cream printing, collaging and stenciling. Many more details to come…
