Our Kindergarten students have been busy this winter with Lunches Around the World, going to India twice (!) and Italy! The Ks also recently took a trip on the trolley to visit the Reading Terminal Market for a scavenger hunt. Many thanks the the parent volunteers that make these extra special events possible. LATW Italy: The pasta was delicious but the lemon Italian Ice inside of a lemon shell was a huge hit!
December LATW India – The Ks loved the samosas and pomegranate seeds, and were treated to a dance!
January LATW India – The mango lassi was a big hit, and the children enjoyed smelling the aromatic spices in the middle of the tables! They also got to practice a dance!
Trip to Reading Terminal! We took the trolley to 1234 Market Street, explored the historical trolley there, had a scavenger hunt at Reading Terminal, ending the trip with delicious fruit from OK Produce and the best pretzels from Miller’s Twist.
