Welcome back Parents!

Here are some fun highlights from our last month together.

Butterflies hatched in our classroom. Over the course of about two weeks the children were able to see this process unfold from start to finish. We released them out into the courtyard when they all emerged.

Crazy Crazy Hair Day!

The children made a crown for Miss Alexis on her birthday. We had an “almost birthday” celebration for Bo, Miriam and Zaha since their birthdays fall in the summer months.

As you know we have been making hearty snacks with the children.
Smoothies, guacamole and vegetable soup are some of their favorites.

One more recent addition to the rotation is pesto pasta. Your children love this! They truly enjoy the process of making it and the end result.

How swiftly time flies! In the beginning, your children come to us just as they embark on a journey to become acquainted with the world and to find their place in it. It is so exciting to see the transformation that takes place. It is an honor to be a part of this process. Each year we end our time together with a butterfly themed send off. The children wore their wings and ran freely about the courtyard as we observed and took a moment to reflect on a great school year. Some stay with us another year, some move up and away. It is never easy to say goodbye, so we shall say “farewell butterflies!”
