The Joy of Possibility

Dear Parents:

As the school year marches on and the children settle into their routines, our teachers carefully observe each child’s development, learning what intrigues them, responding to their readiness for new works and fostering their growth, curiosity and independence. We invite you to participate in fostering the joy of possibility in our classrooms through your contribution to Greene Towne’s Annual Fund. 

The Annual Fund supplements your tuition dollars by providing a transformational level of support for our programs, facilities and faculty training. Gifts from our community of parents, trustees, staff, alum parents, alumni, grandparents, corporations and friends combine to help Greene Towne go from great to exceptional. 

Here are examples of the impact of gifts to the Annual Fund, Auction and EITC programs last year: $45,920 for new classroom materials and supplies; $21,871 for new classroom flooring; $68,200 for professional training for faculty and staff; and financial aid for 25 students. 

Parent participation in the Annual Fund matters deeply. The culture of giving at Greene Towne is strong and thriving. Your volunteerism and support strengthen our work every day. Last year 66% of parents contributed to the Annual Fund. When the extended community and organizations see that our parent community passionately believes in and supports our mission, they’re inspired to donate as well. Leadership gifts and contributions of all sizes make a difference. 

Will you join us by making your gift to the Annual Fund?   

Make your pledge or gift by December 3rd, which is our day of giving on Giving Tuesday. Gifts can be made online at www.gtms.org/giving in single installments or gifts to recur over time. Pledges should be satisfied by June 30th. Fellow parents serve as Class Ambassadors for the Annual Fund and will be reaching out to ask for your support. You’ll also hear about the Annual Fund through the Bulletin, email and Friday Folders.
