Parent Education Rewind – Cooking with Toddlers: Experience the full Montessori Curriculum Through Vegetable Soup

As part of the Greene Towne Parent Education Series, the Toddler Lead Teaching team recently presented Cooking with Toddlers: Experience the full Montessori Curriculum Through Vegetable Soup. This hands-on workshop gave parents an opportunity to experience the Montessori curriculum at work through preparing vegetable soup! The teachers shared practical tips regarding food preparation and how the act of making soup engages all of the areas of the Montessori curriculum (practical life, sensorial, language, math and culture). Delicious soup was served, and it was prepared by our very own toddlers!
