Our New Home Update!

Hello families,

Here’s an update on our work to move to our new home at 2140 Arch Street. As a reminder, this fall the classrooms and offices from our former West Campus will open in the new space, while the classrooms in 2121 Arch Street will continue there for the next school year. In Fall 2023, all of Greene Towne will be united in our new location. 

We’ve been moving ahead on preparations with the help of our Project Manager and the architect team. We have complete architectural plans, and the management group that owns the property has recently completed the work for which they are responsible, which clears the way for our contractor to begin. Before they do so, they need to finalize sub-contractors and pricing with us. In the meantime, we are proactively engaging in contingency planning in the event that the building is not ready for occupancy by the start of the school year, as we know there may be factors which are out of our control, including material delays. Building the roof playdeck is an additional complex project. We are working on contingency play plans, as well. 

There are many moving pieces to this transition, and I am deeply grateful to members of the Greene Towne Board of Trustees for their leadership in coordinating this process for our school community. More information to come!
