Hello Families!

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year!  We have begun to develop a truly wonderful community of friends.  We are all practicing walking slowly in the classroom, asking for a lesson before chosing our works, placing a quiet hand on the teacher when help is needed, and remembering to say excuse me, please, and thank you.  Our Kindergarteners, Nicholas, Myrah, Beatrice, and Eloise have embraced their leadership roles and have been wonderful mentors to our new friends.   

Our class has been going to the play deck every day.  We have an “A/B” schedule.  Every other week, our play deck schedule changes.  Week A we play from 11:10-11:30.  Week B we play from 9:30-9:50.  This week, the week of 10/11, we are on an A schedule.

We have just introduced a pumpkin scrubbing work.  It is a big hit.  There has also been much activity on the art shelf.  Cutting (using scissors), glueing, and painting are popular works.  

Please remember to join us for the parent/teacher coffee on Wednesday, October 20th at 9:00am.  A zoom link will be sent.

Please also joing us on the evening of Tuesday, October 26th from 6:30 – 7:30 when all of the Primary Teachers present an overview of the Montessori Classroom and Materials.  This will be held on zoom.  A link will be sent.
