Our Lower Elementary students have been busy this past month, engaging in a joyful celebration of art, music, and community!
They visited the inspiring ArtWell exhibit at Moore College of Art, where they soaked in creativity and imagination. ArtWell, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit, partners with schools to empower young people through artistic expression. Inspired by the exhibit, some students wrote their own poems, and every child added their unique touch to a collaborative graffiti wall.

Back in the classroom, our friends from Settlement Music School guided the children in composing an original song all about Greene Towne Montessori School—a heartfelt tribute to the place they learn and grow. 💚
We wrapped up this creative journey with a joyful Family Potluck, sharing dishes and traditions that celebrate the diverse cultures within our classroom community. 🌍🍲

What a meaningful way to come together and celebrate the voices, stories, and creativity of our students!
