The Kindergartners had a wonderful time at our first Lunch Around the World on Friday October 24, getting a taste of Brazil and Argentina! A big thank you to the Dowling (Argentina) and Uffner (Brazil) families for the delicious food and fun activities. The children colored flags and created passport books to collect stamps from each country featured throughout the year. Menu highlights: 🇧🇷 Brazil – Rice & beans, and beiju (similar to a crepe) 🇦🇷 Argentina – Empanadas and medialunas (similar to a croissant) Later in the day, Ms. Heather built on the theme in music class, introducing the children to the agogo bell, a traditional instrument from Brazil, in celebration of the day’s countries!
