K Trip to PAFA Rewind!

Before winter break the Kindergarten students took a trip to the Pennsylvania Academy of the Arts! The “Let’s Look” program at PAFA gives an introductory tour to an art museum for early learners. Our Kindergarteners learned about museum manners, looked at works of art, and discussed elements of color, line, and shape. They were able to hear stories about some of the works, and did an interactive felt art activity. The variety of creations, from simple to abstract to complex was fascinating to see from our students!

Field trips are just a small part of the robust Kindergarten program at Greene Towne. Thank you so much to the parent volunteers and staff that make these trips possible!
