Sometimes it’s hard to believe what a tight-knit community we’ve become in what felt like such a short time.
Whether it was Crazy Hair Day, a birthday celebration, or just Tuesday, the children’s closeness and friendship has grown so brightly visible, and their kindness and openness toward one another is inspiring on a daily basis.
We also took care of our classroom, plants (both inside and outside!), some worms (see if you can spot the “edible thank you card”), and a few caterpillars that eventually became butterflies.
All the while, we were taking care of ourselves: persevering, exploring unknown territory, trying new things, and building self-confidence and pride in our work.
And we still had time for field trips, Lunch Around the World, and movement with Mr. Julian!
