Title: Administrative Assistant to the Head / West Campus, Greene Towne Montessori School

The Greene Towne Montessori School is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Administrative Assistant to the Head / West Campus of Greene Towne Montessori School. The Administrative Assistant to the Head / West Campus serves as the Administrative Assistant for the Head of School and is the senior Administrative Assistant for the West Campus. The AA to the Head / West Campus provides strategic and proactive support for the Head of School, the senior admin team as needed, and the four classrooms on the West Campus. This person is comfortable using and designing systems for the efficient flow of school life.  

  • Qualifications: 4-year college degree or higher preferred. Transferable experience in educational or non-profit settings a plus. Highly developed organizational skills and superior communication skills, both oral and written. Outstanding interpersonal skills are essential. Exercise utmost confidentiality and professional discretion. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks. Ability to work as a self-starting individual and in a team environment. Experience using Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite, and basic tech trouble shooting skills. Familiarity with databases a plus.

Early Childhood Substitute Teacher

GTMS MONTESSORI AUXILIARY ASSISTANT (two openings)

 

The Greene Towne Montessori School Auxiliary Assistant is an important role that provides both classroom and administrative support. The role provides key experience in the many operational systems at the heart of running a school. The Auxiliary Assistant reports to the Head of School, Montessori Director/Dean of Faculty, Administrative Assistants or Coordinator/Lead Teacher as assigned.  This position requires flexibility and a broad range of skills, with energetic adaptability to changing needs each day.

The Greene Towne Montessori School Auxiliary Assistant is an important role that provides both classroom and administrative support, with the majority of the time (about 80%) being spent in the classroom, supporting a teaching team and our students, who are ages 2 through 6 years old. Tasks include supervising and supporting children, cleaning, replenishing educational materials for the children, and anticipating needs of the lead teacher and children.

 

Administrative support makes up about 20% of the role, and includes tasks such as inputting data, ordering supplies or groceries, making educational materials, etc.

 

The role provides key experience in the operational systems at the heart of running a school. The Auxiliary Assistant reports to the Head of School, Montessori Director/Dean of Faculty, Administrative Assistants or Coordinator/Lead Teacher as assigned.   • Title: All Day Montessori Toddler Assistant Teacher, full-time year round position

  • Greene Towne Montessori School is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Montessori Toddler Assistant. The Toddler Assistant will assist the Montessori Lead Teacher in the classroom. Duties of the Toddler Assistant include helping to maintain a beautiful Montessori Toddler environment, adherence to the Department of Human Services Standards, maintenance and upkeep of the classroom, assisting with diapering and toileting, and involvement with cooking and craft projects when necessary.  The Toddler Assistant will help the toddlers in becoming more independent and capable people.

  • Qualifications: 4-year college degree or higher. Greene Towne Montessori School is seeking individuals that have a love for children, possess a growth-mindset, are organized self-starters, and are flexible and sensitive to the needs that arise in the life of an active school.

  • Greene Towne Montessori School is seeking qualified candidates for the position of the Primary All Day Montessori Assistant. The Primary ADM Assistant will assist the Montessori Lead Teacher in the classroom. Duties of the Primary Assistant include helping to maintain a beautiful Montessori Primary environment, adherence to the Department of Human Services Standards, maintenance and upkeep of the classroom, supervise outdoor play and rest time, assisting with weekly field trips, and involvement with cooking and craft projects when necessary.  The Primary Assistant will help with the Primary students in becoming more independent, capable and curious learners.
