Many thanks to the over 30 families that turned out for Greene Towne’s Day of Service in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. An astounding 38 Birthday Boxes were assembled and decorated, full of all the necessities for a family to throw a birthday party for their child: cake mix, frosting, candles, decorations, a book and a small gift, and a birthday card. The boxes will be given to Turning Points for Children, an organization that helps children and families in need. Our birthday boxes not only give a birthday party to a child who may not otherwise have one, but they also give a family the ability to do something special for their child.
A special thanks to the GPA, the Community Service sub-committee, and the DEIB sub-committee, especially Liv Lee, Belinda Huang, Nahla Khalek and Adam Hall. Thank you to Maria Meredith for the great photos.
Gather a group of Greene Towne families & friends or go on your own to SESAME PLACE!
