Imagine Whirled Peace: International Day of Peace Rewind!

Millions of people around the world celebrated INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE last week by making and planting pinwheels…Whirled Peace!

At Greene Towne the Kindergarten children created Pinwheels for Peace with Art teacher Emily Grant. The pinwheels were decorated with peace-themed stamps and were planted around school to send our hope for Peace to the world. Be on the lookout very soon for a peaceful art collaboration from the Ks as well!
