Montessori & Me:

Play and Learn

Montessori & Me Playgroups

Welcome to Montessori & Me, a playgroup dedicated to fostering community, introducing the Montessori approach, and providing families with valuable resources and strategies to support their child’s development. Playgroups are offered year-round for ages 0-3. See the dates below:

Fall Programming
September 9 – November 12 (Tuesdays/Wednesdays)
Makeup week: November 18-19

In our Montessori-prepared environment, children will explore, discover, and interact in ways that promote individual growth, development, and independence. Rather than working directly with the child in the presence of parents, our trained Montessori teacher engages with the child through the parent.

Each child attends the playgroup with one adult, be it a parent, grandparent, nanny, or another caregiver. Together, they learn side-by-side through one-on-one or small group lessons, guided observations, and discussions. This unique approach ensures that both the child and the adult are actively involved in the learning process, making it a collaborative and enriching experience for all.

“I am forever grateful for our months together at Montessori and Me. It was an educational and inspiring experience for me as a parent who was curious about Montessori, and a gradual, empowering transition into the classroom for [my child]. I have no doubt that the classroom framework you used to guide [her] has been vital to her success today.”
