As we celebrate the Kindergarten Class of 2025, we thank everyone who came out to support the Kindergarten Lemonade Stand and Bake Sale. This annual Greene Towne tradition is a fun end-of-year event that brings our school community together while teaching the Kindergartners the value of service and paying it forward.
The weather was perfect for refreshing lemonade and yummy treats.

This experience for Kindergartners is a culmination of a leadership year in which the they learned to lead and put into practice some of the foundational elements they have been experiencing for the past three years in the primary classroom – what it means to be part of a community, to learn from one another, and to give back to others. Through group discussions, the children identified a few ways the funds from the lemonade stand and bake sale could help either people, the environment, or animals.

The children ultimately voted to donate the funds raised, $703, to a nonprofit that supports people with disabilities’ access to accessible vehicles.
