Parent Education:

Education for the Community

Supporting Our Children Together:
Parent Education Workshops & Initiatives

Each school year, Greene Towne’s Parent Education Committee builds a strong foundation of community learning and collaboration around the topics that matter most to families, including how best to support our children’s development—both at school and at home—through practical, Montessori-aligned approaches. Healthy eating, managing screen-time and creating friendships are some of focus topics for this years parent education.

Stay tuned to learn more about the 2026-27 Parent Education Series.

Building Community Through Conversation
To extend these conversations in between workshops, the committee welcomes you back to Parent Lounge Meetups—casual gatherings held after GPA meetings in the Shared Shelf parent lounge, located in the lobby of 2121 Arch Street. Books and resources are available in the Shared Shelf parent library. Join members of the Parent Education committee and other parents to connect, share experiences, and exchange ideas.
