It’s time to schedule your conference! Below are some quick FAQs about Parent/Teacher Conferences.

• Be sure to look for your teacher’s name on the signup form.
• Parent/Teachers conferences are on Fridays November 10 and 17.
• The Pre-Conference Notes form is for parents to fill out and share with teachers before the conference to make the most effective use of your time together at the conference. Please turn it in by the MONDAY before your conference. Please download the form and you can either email it to your teacher or print it out and return it to school. Hard copies are also available at the front desk.
• Conferences last 25 minutes but are scheduled a half hour apart to give the staff a short reprieve between meetings.
• There are enough spaces for each child to have one conference, so please sign up as soon as possible if you have a restrictive schedule/multiple conferences to schedule.
• Teachers are not available for duplicate conferences, so parents should plan to attend the same conference. 
• Conference sign ups will be cut off on Wednesdays the same week of the conference.
• Parent conferences will be conducted in person.
• Don’t forget to sign up for an observation before your conference! See below.

FAQs

What are observations?
An observation is an opportunity to watch your child in action in their classroom, from the hallway observation window. 

How long does it last?
Depending on the classroom, 15-20 minutes at the most. 

When can I observe?
Slots are available from Monday, October 28 through November 21, depending on your child’s recess schedule.
Days NOT Available: Thursdays, Conference days – you will want to observe BEFORE your conference.

Can my partner and I observe together?
Of course! We encourage you to observe together as slots for observations are limited.

Can we sign up for more than one observation?
We can only offer one opportunity to observe per person as time and space are limited. However, for some classrooms, multiple slots are available at the same time.

Can other family members observe with us?
We only offer observation opportunities to parents. We ask that other of-age family members, caregivers, or friends visit in May for Grandparents and Special Friends Day. Stay tuned for more information regarding this day and thank you for your cooperation.

When are conferences?
Fridays November 15 and 22, in person.
