Save the Date: Earth Week Community Service

Please join us in capping off Greene Towne’s Earth Week activities at Liberty Lands Park in Northern Liberties on Sunday, April 24th, from 10:00-12:00.  We will be weeding, mulching, and enjoying some all around fun in the dirt! Please dress to get dirty/muddy, including wearing rain boots! Kids are encouraged to wear their Greene Towne T-shirts and to bring a refillable water bottle.

Liberty Lands Park, located near 3rd and Poplar in Northern Liberties, is easily accessible on the Market-Frankford line (Spring Garden or Girard Avenue stops) and by SEPTA bus routes 5, 15, 43 and 57.  In the spirit of Earth Week, we encourage families to walk, bike, scooter, or SEPTA to the event. Street parking is also available on surrounding streets. 

Liberty Lands Park includes a playground and on-site bathroom, and it is surrounded by a number of delicious post-event brunch options. Or, bring a picnic lunch and a blanket to hang out a little longer!
