Sarah Shares: The Wonder of the Season

Dear Greene Towne Families,

It’s hard to believe we are on the verge of winter break! Our school year has already been filled with close community and mini and major milestones for our children, from our youngest toddlers to our oldest students. The past month has also brought all sorts of wonder, as children and families shared with us the special parts of a fantastic array of holiday traditions.

As we move into a new calendar year, my wish for all of you is that you find even one glimpse of the wonder that children experience and express everyday here at Greene Towne. It is inspiring to share with them, whether it is noticing a beautiful leaf, approaching a new season-themed work in the classroom, or gazing at my silly light up headband, our children are wide-eyed, joyful, and happy to share what they notice all around them. May you notice wonder in your time with family and friends in these next couple of weeks.
