From Cradle to Classroom: Promoting Healthy Sleep Habits in Children
with Sammy Dhaliwal, PhD, MSc
Friday, February 21 | 1:30pm | 55 N. 22nd Street
What does healthy sleep look like in infants and toddlers? How do we balance our sleep need with our kiddos? If you’ve wondered what “normal” sleep looks like, please consider joining us on Friday, Feb. 21st. This session is open to parents in the Greene Towne parents and the wider community beyond, and we will leave 20 minutes for Q & A. Our goal is to help you get your Zzzzs.
Q&A Panel Discussion: Managing Difficult Toddler Behavior
Thursday, February 27 | 6:30pm | Arch Street Campus
Join the Greene Towne Montessori Toddler Teachers for a Q&A Panel Discussion! Send in questions with your RSVP.
Does your toddler refuse to get into the bathtub or demand to stay in when it’s time to get out? Does your toddler throw unwanted food on the floor during mealtimes? Does your toddler become upset if their shirt gets wet? Does it feel like your toddler’s favorite word is NO?
You are not alone! While frustrating, these behaviors are developmentally appropriate. Join us for a brief overview of toddler development as it relates to behaviors, followed by a panel style question/answer session. You’ll gain an understanding of why such behaviors might occur along with some tools to navigate them.
They will be ready to hear from you on specific, or general, scenarios that are challenging at home. While this Q&A will focus on Toddler aged children, it is open to all Greene Towne parents as some responses or solutions may work for your child and family.
The panel wants to hear from you! Send questions/scenarios with your registration.
