The most important time of development is between birth and age 6. A sensitive period is a phase or window in a child’s development when they are most capable of and responsive to absorbing a certain skill. Join Michelle Nowacky and Maggie McCaffrey as we dive into sensitive periods and learn more about how the Montessori classroom supports child development through sensitive periods.
