Why the Annual Fund Matters
What is the Annual Fund? Greene Towne receives important financial resources needed to fully support our programs and facilities through voluntary gifts from parents, alumni parents, trustees, faculty, alumni, grandparents, corporations, and friends. Every March we also hold a separate fundraising event, the Annual Auction, and you will hear more about it in the coming weeks. Both the Annual Fund and the Auction contribute to our operating budget. Today, we are asking for your voluntary commitment to the Annual Fund, which is the backbone of our fundraising efforts.
Gifts to the Annual Fund directly support your child’s Montessori education in numerous ways: sponsorship of faculty training and professional development, providing new classroom materials, funding a need-based financial aid program, and making important updates to facilities and programs.
Strong parent participation in the Annual Fund is a point of pride that sets Greene Towne apart. With robust parental support, we secure gifts from corporations and other external organizations who view our high degree of parent involvement as a measure of the caliber and strength of our school. Your gift truly makes a difference for our students!
Each GTMS family essentially paid $1143 less in tuition last year because we engage in fundraising. Please take a moment to consider your participation in the Annual Fund. EVERY gift counts no matter the size.
