Greene Towne Updates

I am delighted to officially announce that Jennifer Coulter has been appoint Montessori Director/Dean of Faculty (formerly this position was titled Assistant Head of School held by Maria Kaminstein). Jennifer summed up her experience in this way, "Having worked with children for over twenty years with fifteen of those years in Montessori at Greene Towne, I have a deep understanding of the needs of our students, teachers and families. I look forward to help facilitate the framework for educating facuty/staff and families in Montessori practices and values."

 

Jennifer is a graduate of Drexel University with a BS in Teacher Education and of Princeton Center for Teacher Education with Montessori Primary Certification. Last year, she was a Montessori Instructor at Chestnut Hill College. For the past six years, Jennifer has been the Primary Coordinator in addition to her teaching duties at Greene Towne. Jennifer will assume her new role in mid-August.

 

Other announcements at Greene Towne:

Jen Wollman, former Toddler Lead Teacher, will move to the Primary Lead Teacher position and work with Justin Donner. Jen is Montessori Primary certified and holds a M.Ed with a reading speciality. She has over twelve years experience in the Primary classroom in addition to her three years of experience in the Greene Towne older Toddler classroom.

Katie Brown and Jean Prestas will work this year as Co-Lead Teachers in the Brown/Prestas Classroom. Both Jean and Katie are Montessori Primary certified teachers and Katie holds a M.Ed. Having worked together for three years, they are excited to move forward as co-teachers.

Desiree McNeill, having completed her Montessori Toddler certification last year, will move to the Toddler Lead Teacher position in the older Toddler classroom.

Maria Kaminstein, who retired at the end of June, has been enjoying time with family and friends.

Ed Kalesse will be leaving at the end of the summer. We thank him for his 18 years of service.
