50th Anniversary Block Party Rewind
What a wonderful day we had last Saturday, celebrating with families and friends of Greene Towne! From a roster of beautiful performances, like from String Theory and powerhouse singing alums Little Big Sister, to reconnecting with alum and alum families at the Open House, to crafts, tattoos, and games, a wonderful time was had by all. As always, it is wonderful to have GTMS founder Portia Sperr with us as we received an official proclamation of our anniversary from the city and cut into a massive cake!
We say it all the time, but Greene Towne is powered by parents, and we couldn’t have done this without you! So many families stepped in to volunteer at every level and we couldn’t begin to list you all here, but know that we thank you sincerely for everything. Thank you to our staff and faculty for helping us celebrate and holding down the fort! Finally, thank you to our organizers and boots on the ground, the 50th Anniversary Block Party Committee: Co-chairs Scott Deitz and Maylee Marsano, and committee members Erika Goldberg, Amanda Parlett, and Kieran Rump. Here’s to 50 more, and see everyone in the spring at Bartram’s Gardens!
