Greetings from the Enrollment Office,

We hope you are all enjoying preparations for a festive holiday season! Greene Towne is abuzz with celebrations: decorating, making crafts, tasting treats, reading holiday stories, and singing songs. In the enrollment office, we are preparing for the next school year, which starts in September 2025!

Currently enrolled families will receive a re-enrollment contract reflecting their child(ren)’s current program schedule, either School Day Montessori, with attendance options until 2:45 pm or All Day Montessori for families who require care after 2:45 pm at least 3-days-a-week. If you wish to change your child’s program from School Day Montessori to All-Day Montessori, or the reverse, please contact Julie Kaeli, jkaeli@gtms.org to discuss, and we’ll adjust your child’s 2025-2026 enrollment contract to reflect the change.

Greene Towne is committed to providing access to our school for those children who would be unable to attend without tuition assistance. Since its start in 1966, Greene Towne has offered tuition assistance as part of our founders’ vision for a “racially, religiously, and economically integrated school.” Tuition assistance is based on a family’s demonstrated need and the availability of funds. Admissions and enrollment decisions are made independently of tuition assistance requests and all families who feel they may qualify for tuition assistance are encouraged to inquire.

Greene Towne is proud to partner with Clarity to determine our families’ level of need in tuition assistance. Clarity brings several benefits to the tuition assistance process: They link directly to your IRS tax return so you will not need to upload tax returns. You will be asked to submit the immediate year’s proof of income to verify any changes in income. Clarity is hosting a family information session on December 10 at 5:30 p.m. PT for families who wish to learn more. Please register at the link.

Tuition rates will be posted directly on the Clarity application by the end of the calendar year. Simply select your child’s anticipated schedule — listed as “grades”– to auto-fill the appropriate tuition. You do not need to wait until the tuition rates are updated to start or submit your application.

All decisions concerning tuition assistance are the responsibility of the Greene Towne Montessori School Tuition Assistance Committee and are based on demonstrated need and available funds. The Tuition Assistance Committee is made up of the Head of School, the Co-Directors of Enrollment Management, and the Director of Development. Tuition Assistance decisions are confidential and every effort is made to protect the privacy of the applicants.

Please refer to our 2025/26 Guidelines for Applying for Tuition Assistance for details.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Erika Goldberg, egoldberg@gtms.org, with any questions about tuition assistance!

Our warmest wishes for a joyous holiday season!

Julie and Erika
