Welcome back Parents!
This is our final blog of the school year. How swiftly time has escaped us!
Here is a look at some moments of our year now past…
Family Matching Work
Celebrating our diversity and building community is top priority for us. This is how your young children make connections with each other and progress in their social development. It also plays a key factor in us all getting to know each other. We have explored this in many ways within the curriculum throughout this school year. Some examples include birthday and holiday celebrations, a variety of continent work and most recently our family matching work.
The children truly enjoyed congregating around this work and declaring their memories as captured in the photographs including trips they took with you and where they were when posing for the pictures. This was a rare opportunity for them to see their classmates with their families as well. You are all the core inspiration and play a huge part in building community within our classroom.
Farewell Butterflies
Each year we end our time together with a butterfly themed send off.
As we reflect on a wonderful school year, we would like to take a moment and thank you, the parents, for all that you do! Your support and generosity has been priceless.
As for your children, nothing gives us more joy than seeing them grow in their independence and, quite simply, to laugh with them everyday. It is so hard to say goodbye. Those words feel so final. Therefore instead we shall say “farewell butterflies!”
Have a beautiful summer!
Love, hugs, and the warmest of regards,
Cherise and Alexis and Anne!
