A reminder that The Shared Shelf Workshop is next Thursday, Thursday 30th January 6:30 pm at 2121 Arch Street. If you can attend, please register here.
The Shared Shelf is a dedicated lounge space and library for the Greene Towne Community with monthly book highlights, run by the Parent Education Committee.
The upcoming workshop aims to explore the different topics and resources parents would like to see available in the library and provide an opportunity for parents to meet and share ideas.
We will also be disseminating the review of our second book – “No-Drama Discipline”.
Light refreshments will be provided. All parents and staff are welcome!
Chapter Chats schedule
December – “Freeing your Child from Anxiety” by Tamar Chansky
January – “No-Drama Discipline” Daniel J. Siegel, M.D. & Tina Payne Bryson, PH.D
February – “Out of our minds: Learning to be creative” by Ken Robinson
Furniture and Décor donations
We are also calling out for furniture and décor donations to make the new space cozy and inviting. Bookcases, a lounge, armchairs, side tables, rugs, cushions, faux plants (or real), and decorative items are needed. If you want to donate an item, please email jesscroker@hotmail.com with a photo and dimensions. We will see if it fits in the new space and organize a time to come and collect it from you.
