January ushered in cold weather. Using the frigid temperatures as inspiration, arctic animals are now in our classroom. The children have been doing polar bear scrubbing work. nesting penguins and a variety of arctic art crafts.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Shivah and her family. Shivah joined our classroom this month. She has settled in quite smoothly and is truly enjoying her time at school.
Taking cues from the weather, we have been dividing our recess time between outside and inside. The children have been enjoying their time in our movement room. Wednesdays are especially exciting with Mr. Julian joining us for our weekly movement class.

We have been trying out a few new options for snack time. Guacamole is certainly a group favorite. We have also added applesauce, hummus and smoothies to our rotation.
