Dear Greene Towne families,

I’m excited to see many of you at tomorrow’s virtual K celebration!

At school we have been very busy studying requirements and guidelines and consulting with health and early childhood education resources for child care and summer programming for children. We very much look forward to having children return to campus, and will do so when we are confident that we have the supplies, staffing and protocols in place to mitigate risk as much as possible for the health and safety of our students, families and staff.

Here are our plans and timing:

We plan to re-open for Toddler and Primary ADM students who have an All-Year contract on June 22. Greene Towne @ Home will continue for students who have registered for the summer months until then.

We have not yet determined if we will be holding our Summer Camp (for school year students). If we are able to hold summer camp, we will begin with those families who have already registered up for camp, until we are able to gauge our capacity due to staffing. If we decide to hold Summer Camp, the earliest we may open Summer Camp is July 6.

If you are interested in registering your child for Summer ADM or Summer Camp, email Eileen Doyle edoyle@gtms.org, and we will add you to a list in order of the date by which you contact us, to be considered if we find that we are able to accept additional students.

Tomorrow (Friday) I will be sharing with all families the protocols that we will be implementing for our summer programs. These guidelines and procedures will be updated in.alignment with most recent guidance and information from the City.of Philadelphia and the CDC. While there may be some changes by the fall, these guidelines and practices will give families a good sense of what to expect at school for the 2020-21 school year.

Thank you for your support, your patience, and partnership.

Sarah
